Repair Completed
After inspecting the chimney, we confirmed that both the flaunching and the chimney pot required attention. We carefully removed any loose or deteriorating mortar from the existing flaunching and applied a fresh layer of weather-resistant mortar around the chimney pot base to secure it firmly. This new flaunching layer was carefully shaped to allow proper water runoff, protecting against moisture accumulation. For the pot, we realigned and re-secured it to ensure stability, making it resistant to future weather impacts.
